While travelling in the USA in 2010, I was fortunate enough to be able to take a ride for the best part of an hour in the B-17G bomber "Sentimental Journey", flown by the dedicated volunteers of the Commemorative Air Force at Mesa, Arizona. The experience is something I will never forget.

This beautiful vintage aircraft first flew in 1944 and there are only a handful that are still airworthy today.
